Here’s another of my fairy tutus with pretty petal design – this time it’s a baby blue and white tutu with a few sparkly silver and sequinned white shimmery strands to make it extra special!
Please have a look at my website www.TutusWingsandPrettyThings.com if you’d like to get one of these sky-blue fairy tutus for yourself!
I recently had an order for a custom-made adult tutu in forest green and black colours. I was so pleased to make this, because it was something a little different from usual – this tutu skirt has ‘petals’ all the way around it which makes it look even more like a woodland ‘fairy’ costume. The tutu has the 2 coloured layers on the top and two black layers below, which I love and I think I’m going to make a few more like this is different colour combinations and might even add the petals range to my shop website in the future.
Please let me know if you’d like a custom fairy tutu making for you and I can do you a special discounted price while I’m trying out this new style! Email me cassiefairy@tutuswingsandprettythings.com and I’ll make you the prettiest tutu ever!
In honour of April Fools Day here are some of my favourite jokes:
“Doc, I can’t stop singing ‘The Green, Green Grass of Home.’”
“That sounds like Tom Jones Syndrome.”
“Is it common?” Well, “It’s Not Unusual.”
Did you hear about the Buddhist who refused his dentist’s anaesthetic during root canal work? He wanted to transcend dental medication.
What do you call a fish with no eyes? A fsh
Did you here about the guy who lost his whole left side? He’s alright now…
And finally, there was the person who sent twenty different puns to his friends, with the hope that at least ten of the puns would make them laugh. No pun in ten did.
I’m actually giggling now!
And don’t forget it’s the last day of the sale on the Tutus Wings & Pretty Things website – mega discounts on amazing fancy dress tutus for adults. Check it out now – Sale ends midnight tonight and that’s no joke!
Last week I saw this video of Grammy nominee Britt Nicole discussing her stage costumes for her tour and was pleased to hear that she is fully embracing princess-ness with a gold tutu skirt:
“I do feel like I have to be comfortable on stage because I’m moving a lot, I’m dancing…so I have to have something that I can move in,” Britt explained. “When I’m trying on clothes for a tour coming up, I’m in the dressing room posing, dancing, holding my mic. I’m like, ‘Okay, how do I feel in this? Can I lift my arms? What all can I do?’ The last thing I bought for the most recent tour I was one is this really big tutu skirt. It goes out really far and has this gold top. I wear it with gold Converse. It’s this kind of prissy, really fun pop look and then the Converse make it more fun, more edgy.”
Scarlett Johansson has also been wearing the same gold-and-tulle style at the MET gala and looks super-pretty in this long ebellished gown by Dolce & Gabbana. If you can’t stretch to a designer price-tag to recreate the look, here’s an idea to create your own tulle dress using one of my new range of custom-made tulle skirts – coming soon to www.TutusWingsandPrettyThings.com - combined with a sparkly gold top from La Redoute.
If you can’t wait for the new range of fashion skirts to be launched at Tutus, Wings and Pretty Things, please get in touch for a personalised quote for a handmade tulle skirt cassie@cassiefairy.co.uk which can be made to your size, length, fabric and colour requirements – you can even decide how many layers you want!
