Tuesday Shoesday – Accessories Designer of the Year Charlotte Dellal

Glamour magazine has announced their winners for Women of the Year 2012 and the award that stood out for me, especially as it is Tuesday Shoesday, was the winner of Accessories Designer of the Year which went to lovely British designer Charlotte Dellal.

I’ve featured Charlotte’s design in a previous Tuesday Shoesday post, showing her retro beach-inspired designs at Fashion Week. I’ve always admired her quirky designs, bright colours and clashing patterns so I was delighted that she and her label Charlotte Olympia have been recognised. I love her bold & cheeky wedding shoe designs and here’s some of the gorgeous shoes in her current collection from the website:

What do you think of these glorious shoes? Would you rather pay for British designer footwear than other famous designer products? Do you agree with Glamour’s choice of Accessories Designer of the Year? Let me know 🙂
