As I watched the finale of the recent series of Downton Abbey on Sunday I couldn’t help checking out the girls’ vintage footwear. I really like the ladylike fashion that the Crawley girls are wearing in the third series, which is set in the 1920s and I’ve always enjoyed their pretty shoes – they always look practical and comfortable with their low heels but delicate and glamourous withΒ dolly straps and beaded embellishments. I’ve had a search around the high street and found these ladylike shoes to replicate the Downton look:
Let me know what you think – Would you wear these shoes? Are the heels too low to be glamourous? Do you love the Downton girls’ style?
