Tuesday Shoesday – Party feet deserve party shoes

Not only is it nearly Christmas, but it’s also nearly my birthday, so I thought it would be a sensible time to check out what glamourous party shoes the high street has to offer this year. But first I wanted to see what my favourite female celebs were wearing on their famous feet – check out these Charlotte Olympia rainbow coloured ‘Priscilla’ platforms on Britney Spears, sky-high Louboutins on casual Beyoncé, gold Miu Miu chunky heels on Zooey Deschanel, and sparkly toe-capped Louboutins on Charlize Theron:

I’m always a sucker for a sparkly shoe and it’s almost a given that a party shoe must have high heels, so I’m on the look out for a sensible height heel that I will be able to dance in and still walk home in! Here’s my favourite selection from Missguided, Mr Shoes, Next and New Look – I know that the first two are skyscraper heels but I think that the massive platform sole would balance that out and they would probably be quite comfortable (optimistic thinking) but the second two pairs look like I could quite happily dance the night away in these glitzy heels:
