Fashion trendspotting – Spring butterflies

I have spotted a bit of a trend emerging for Spring 2013. Alongside the traditional florals, butterflies have been fluttering their way onto a lot of dresses and blouses this year. Just check out this bright butterfly print dress that Lost actress Maggie Grace was spotted wearing on the red carpet recently. And fabulous Les Mis superstar Anne Hathaway even added a cute butterfly motif to her nail-art manicure at the Screen Actors Guild event last month.

So I have been hunting around to find the best butterfly print dresses to get me ready for Spring and I’m planning to get myself one now, so that I can get maximum wear out of it – taking me into Summer (and maybe even for Autumn/Winter with a pair of wooly tights!). I have found these four high-fashion beauties at Apricot Clothing – the two shift dresses at the bottom are my absolute favourites from their new season collection and the top two dresses are actually in the sale so click on the photo below to check out these bargains for yourself!

And I’ve found out that Apricot are giving free delivery on everything this weekend from Friday 8th to Monday 11th Feb – use secret code LOVEDELIVERY to get your favourite item delivered free of charge – I’m going for the blush butterfly dress, the prettiest dress I’ve seen in ages!
