A creative entertainment idea for your next party

It is becoming increasingly popular at parties and events to have a photo booth, where guests can have their picture taken. These photo booths are an excellent way to let people take pictures of themselves as the evening progresses, and you can even incorporate a theme into your photo booth as well.wedding-anniversary-party-ideas-fancy-dress-photo-booth-wallThere are many different events which would be suitable to have a photo booth to take pictures of the guests, such as;

  • Weddings
  • Anniversaries (A created a DIY photo wall for my 10th wedding anniversary party)
  • Birthdays
  • Graduations
  • Engagement Parties
  • Retirement Parties

Even corporate events are using photo booths to help delegates break the ice and I’ve enjoyed taking some snaps with my blogging pals in the Blogstock and Company Blog Awards booths (below). Whatever type of event it is that you are planning you may find that a photo booth could be just the right thing to let everyone have some creative fun.diy photo booth party ideas photograph

Bespoke photo booths for any occasion

If you are planning a party or event that has a theme to it, then you should think about a bespoke photo booth, which can be designed to fit in perfectly with your theme. A quick search on the internet for cheap photo booth hire wherever you live will show many different companies that can offer this service to you. You will need to have a theme in mind first, and also you will need to know if you require a traditional photo booth or an open air photo booth. When you have this information, you will then be able to get a quote as well as have any questions answered that you may have. The only limit is your imagination when it comes to photo booths, and nothing is too outrageous to be done.

A Star Wars photo booth

With the new Star Wars films currently being produced, you can guarantee that this is going to be a popular theme soon. Why not create a photo booth in the style of the Millennium Falcon, the bar at Mos Eisley, or even the forest moon of Endor, which is home to the Ewoks. The love of Star Wars spans many generations, and if you plan your party to coincide with the release of the new film, you can be assured that it will be a success.

A children’s character photo booth

If you are having a child’s birthday party, then you can incorporate their favourite cartoon character into the theme, which is sure to please them no end. Whether your child loves Sponge Bob, Mickey Mouse or Peppa Pig, it is easy to have a bespoke photo booth created for your party. An open air both is a good idea for a children’s party so that you can get pictures of everyone that attends, even the camera shy people!

The Simpsons theme photo booth

The Simpsons is the longest running cartoon series ever, and this crazy cartoon full of yellow people, is popular with young and old alike. The Simpsons is a great idea for the theme for an event or party, especially if it is fancy dress, as the show has had so many different characters over the years. These characters range from George W Bush and Michael Jackson to Angelina Jolie and Stephen Hawkins. If you are using this theme, then it is a good idea to tell guests that the major characters like Bart and Homer cannot be used. If you do not let anyone use the main characters, then they will have to choose some of the other characters that will encourage people to be more creative. A Simpson’s photo booth at your next party sounds like a great way to get people to have fun and enjoy themselves.

Whatever your theme is, a photo booth is a great way to document the people at your next party, and the sky’s the limit when it comes to choosing a theme. So the next time you look to organise and event or party, why not go for a bespoke photo booth, and really get the party swinging!
