A little bit of press coverage for Cassiefairy.com

Hurrah it’s been a busy month here at Cassiefairy HQ because my thrifty little blog has popped up in a few unexpected places. I thought I’d gather together some snapshots of my recent press coverage in case you missed it – as you can probably tell, I’m REALLY chuffed! So in June, I was Home Style Magazine’s ‘Blogger of the Month’! Eeeee how exciting is that?! The only thing is that I didn’t realise I was in the magazine until a few weeks after it was published. Luckily, I already had a copy of the June issue because my blogging buddy Anna was on the front cover and her pretty pink home was featured inside. Even though I’d read the magazine – although I admit, I did flick straight to Anna’s pages – I somehow missed the little mention of my blog. When a friend of mine emailed to tell me that I was in the June issue I couldn’t believe it, and started frantically swooshing through the pages until my eye landed on one of my interiors photos and a little write-up – wahooo! The second piece of good news I got last month was that my project was featured in Issue 43 of Reloved magazine. I’d recently renovated my husband’s grandad’s tallboy wardrobe, sanding it back to wood and giving it a thorough stain and wax to bring to back to it’s original best. So I was delighted when the magazine chose to include my project as a ‘Masterclass’ on stripping back and re-staining wood – brilliant! Not only did I get a little mention of my blog the end of the piece, I’ve also benefited from having a lovely good-as-new piece of furniture (and some much-needed extra storage) in my home. Finally, I’ve just received the fantastic news that my blog was named one of ‘12 most lively lifestyle blogs‘ in the UK! Walton’s published a round-up of their recommended lifestyle blogs and Cassiefairy.com was the very first one to be featured. So excited to share this news, and I’ve already investigated all the other fantastic blogs on this list – have a read of the round-up for yourself and discover some fun new bloggers.

That’s all for this month, so pleased I could share my little achievements with you and fingers crossed that I’ll get some more mentions in articles over the summer too! 🙂
