Free tickets to the Homebuilding & Renovating Show!

As you may have noticed if you’ve been reading my blog for a while, I’m currently renovating my first home. It’s a complete fixer-upper and we’ve been working on it for 18 months now – with plenty more rooms to tackle! Which precisely is why I’m planning on heading to the Homebuilding & Renovating Show this year. And the great news is that I’ve arranged free tickets for all of you to come along too!

I need help with my hallway, living room, kitchen and (a massive project in itself) my garden, so I’m hoping to get all the inspiration I need to get started on these jobs. I’m especially excited about attending the seminars, Masterclasses and “Tricks of the Trade” sessions, where self-build and renovation professionals will provide expert advice and practical help. Even if you’re at the very beginning of your project and need to talk planning permission, there’s one-on-one consultations in the advice centre that can help you get started.

But it’s not just about construction, hard landscaping and materials. The show features my favourite blog topic too: interior design. I regularly read Real Home and Period Living, and I know that these two publications support the show, so I’m excited to check out all the styling inspiration at the show too. After dithering over the paint colour for my hallway for months, I’m sure this’ll give the motivation I need to get painting!

As a friend of the My Thrifty Life blog, you’re entitled to 2 free tickets to the Homebuilding & Renovating Show in 2018 or 2019 –  you can choose any date that suits you, and any location! It’s held at ExCeL in London in September and all around the country throughout the rest of the year, including Edinburgh, Harrogate, Bath, Farnborough, Birmingham, Glasgow and Surrey.

Just to note – I don’t make any commission from this and I’m not being paid to attend the event. I just get to give you free tickets to the show (worth £18 per ticket if bought on the day) – and saving my readers money is my main motivation for writing this blog! I got my free tickets to the Homebuilding & Renovating Show the same way that you can – by clicking here to choose a date. See you there!
