April’s certainly been a busy month here at Cassiefairy HQ, with a few magazine articles published, my Easter projects being shared and a couple of exciting announcements – here’s what I’ve been up to…
TOP 100 INTERIOR DESIGN BLOG
Amazing news! My blog has been featured in the list of the Top 100 Interior Design Blogs! As someone who likes to make the most of their home while sticking to a VERY tight budget, I’m really chuffed to receive this accolade!

FUN DIY EASTER DECOR IDEAS
My Easter bunny wreath has been included in a round up of fun DIY Easter decor ideas! Check out the round-up to find plenty of other wreath ideas, as well as garlands, egg trees and upcycled plant pots, ready for Easter.
GIN AND INTERIORS
This month I had the pleasure of writing all about the gorgeous home of Cara from @GinandInteriors. If you like gin as much as you like interiors (@velvetandquartz I’m talking to you!) then you’ll love her Instagram account. When I first saw the photos of her home, I knew it would make a stunning feature in Reclaim magazine and I was delighted when she agreed to be interviewed.
I love learning about the design process behind the finished photos, so it was wonderful to get this kind of behind-the-scenes access to Cara’s home. The full feature is in Issue 37 of Reclaim magazine so be sure to check it out before the 24th April when the next issue hits the shelves.
TASTY EASTER TREATS ROUND-UP
If you’re looking for some fun festive recipes to make with the kids over the Easter weekend, look no further! Here’s an Easter recipe round-up of easy treats to bake including hot cross muffins, Easter egg rocky road, bunny pancakes and my own recipe for Creme Egg cheesecake! I was so pleased that my recipe was included in this lovely round-up of recipes.

I also had an email this week to offering me a Conseiller En Decor award! The winners were chosen by Largou Rugs and includes another of my favourite interiors bloggers Kimberly from Swoon Worthy – brilliant! I’m excited to have been chosen by this brand for my “contribution to the world of home decoration and improvement” – thanks very much!
