So the clocks jumped forwards an hour last night to British Summer Time and, as if by magic, the flowers woke up, the blossom on the trees bloomed and birds sang loudly in the blue sky. I even saw a woodpecker this morning – that’s how very definitely spring/summer it is!
I also noticed a very seasonal (although completely accidental) yellow still-life display in my fruit-bowl so I’ve snapped these pics which I think totally sum up the season perfectly.
