Hi fellas, it’s that time of year again, and I’m sure you don’t need reminding that Christmas is just around the corner. If you have a special someone in your life, it’s never too early to start thinking about gifts for her. Whether it’s jewellery, tech, books or accessories, there is no shortage of fabulous options available. But don’t wait until the last-minute to start looking for women’s gifts. Do what you can to prepare for Christmas in advance so you’re not stressing out this Christmas by searching for the right present on Christmas Eve! Here’s how…
SHOP EARLY
First, shop for your presents early. There are often huge sales prior to Christmas. Of course, it’s Black Friday tomorrow (and apparently ALL week!) and after that comes Cyber Monday, so you can get a head start on your present buying at an affordable price if you head to the shops right now. Shops also have winter sales in December so, if you don’t manage to buy a gift this weekend, you’ve still got time to bag a bargain.
MAKE A BUDGET
Second, plan your budget and stick to it. You know how much you can afford on a gift for her, so set that money aside and don’t use it for anything else! It’s especially helpful if you know exactly which store you’re planning on going to for her gift because you can keep an eye out for sales and voucher codes to help you save money. Then you can use any excess budget to splash out on a few stocking fillers too!
THINK ABOUT IT
Third, don’t just guess what she’d like for Christmas, think! You know your lady better than anyone. Take a moment to really think about something she’d like to have. Don’t just choose the gift set that’s in front of you or grab cheapest thing you can find on the shelf. Do some digging. Ask some questions. Really take the time to find out what she really needs or wants. She’ll be surprised that you went to all that trouble and will really appreciate the gift.
BACKUP PLAN
Finally, make sure you have a contingency plan. This means that if all else fails, make sure you have a backup in place. There’s nothing worse than having your eye on the perfect gift for her, only to discover that it’s sold out or the price is out of your budget. Shop around online for alternative places to buy the same, or similar, items so that you won’t end up disappointing her with a less-than-perfect gift.
Finding that great Christmas gift can be quite a challenge, but as long as you set aside a few minutes and a few pounds, you can make this Christmas one she’ll never forget. If you have any other tips for getting a bargain or finding a dream present please share them in the comments below.
