I know it might seem odd to say this after the anticipation and excitement of the festive period, but I actually really enjoy taking down my Christmas decorations. I’m not saying that I’m doing it today – they’ll be staying up for quite a while yet – but when I pack away the tinsel, lights and baubles it’s really nice to have that sense of space and for everything to look neat.
And when I’m packing the decorations away, I love to store them away neatly too. So, this year, I’ve prepared a few dedicated boxes ready to stow my tinsel, stockings, and even my Christmas jumpers!

These labels not only look cute – I especially love the chalkboard swish – but they are also really practical. You can see at a glance what’s in the boxes so it’s easy to find the items you need rather than rummaging through multiple unlabelled boxes. Plus, you can rub out and rewrite the labels on the chalkboard label if you want to use the box for something else in the future.
Another bonus for me is that the boxes mean that I will keep my collection of festive items compact – only the items that can fit in the storage tubs can be kept. That way I won’t unnecessarily spend money on buying new decor each year, and won’t get overwhelmed by a massive hoard of baubles!
