The ultimate Winter wardrobe staple – My winter coat

You may remember that last month I was considering a purchase of a new winter coat and I blogged about my shortlist – if you don’t remember check out the blog post here.

Well, I tried on a few options and after much deliberation and weighing up of price, style and warmth etc I decided on this little beauty:

Although this product image from H&M doesn’t look much, the coat is lovely when I put it on – a really good shape and length for me. Plus it was only £24.99 and I had a voucher for £5 off so it really couldn’t be beaten on price! The only downside I’ve found since wearing it is that the tweed is slightly itchy around the neckline, but I’ve solved this problem by adding a lovely warm khaki scarf! Here’s me enjoying wearing my new winter coat for the opening day of Redhouse Christmas Barn – keep an eye out for a future blog post about this event!

Have you purchased a new coat this autumn/winter season? What style and colour did you go for? Do you buy a new coat every year? Get in touch and let me know your thoughts 🙂
