Is this the coolest thing you’ve ever seen? Little Posties Lego crayons!

Some items have been gifted

It was hubby’s birthday last weekend and, as we are both still big kids, I wanted to get him something fun to play with, so when a new follower ‘Little Posties’ popped up on my Twitter feed (@LittlePosties) with their awesome range of funky crayons, I clicked through to their website and snapped up these bargain treats for his birthday as quickly as I could.

These unique crayons are handmade in the UK and are moulded from Crayola non-toxic crayons. The owner of Little Posties tells of how the idea came to them “We got the idea for unique crayons after seeing a batch melt really quickly in the summer and then reform into a weird shape when it got cooler in the evening. Ping! a light bulb moment! Why not put melted crayons into a unique shapes and sizes and from there Little Posties was born.”

I was instantly impressed with their product range of funky shapes and well-known characters (Hello Kitty for me please!), and although I don’t have any children to buy them for, I can see that these crayons would be great for little fingers to grab hold of, and they won’t snap as easily as a normal crayon does! Hence the reason why they would be so good for my child-at-heart artist husband 😉 I also think they would be great for party-bag fillers for kids parties and even as wedding favours for a retro-themed wedding. In fact, I wish I was getting married again, because I would definitely have these as funky wedding favours! I’m pretty sure that Little Posties could accommodate anything, so check out their website and get in touch with them 🙂

little posties crayon lego men and bricks

We are childhood fans of Lego and have a little collection of Lego bits ‘n’ bobs in our home (including this massive Lego brick radio in the background of these photos!) so I knew that hubby would love to receive these packs of Lego brick and Lego men crayons on his birthday, and I wasn’t wrong. If only you could have seen the delight on his face as he unwrapped his new toys! Plus, knowing that they were for my husband’s birthday, Little Posties had very kindly personalised the packaging with a string of little beads attached to each pack spelling out his name – so cute! All in all, he and I were both thrilled with this quirky product and loved the little handmade touches that you only get from dealing with a ‘real person’ kind of business. I cannot highly recommend them enough for unique and thrifty gifts for children and adults alike. Thanks Little Posties – I’ll be back for more soon!

  1. Hi there! This is kind of off topic but I need some guidance from an established blog.

Is it hard to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty fast.
I’m thinking about setting up my own but I’m not sure
where to start. Do you have any ideas or suggestions?
