The Fairyland Trust is a charity that I am very fond of. It is based in East Anglia (where I grew up ) and I have actually made a few life choices based on this organisation: 6 years ago I saw a local news report on the Fairyland Trust and a fairy event they were organising for children – this made me want to join the organisation, to become an event manager and influenced my decision to move to Lancashire to study Event Management. A bit of a radical decision-making process, I know!
The Fairyland Trust is a conservation charity, encouraging conservation through discovering nature’s magic; “The Fairyland Trust aims to engage children, families and others in conservation, by appreciating the magic of nature. It uses myths, legends, folklore and magical traditions to introduce ecology and natural history. It works to encourage the exploration and discovery of wildlife and natural places and things through enjoyment and by stimulating the imagination.”
Shh! Sneeky Peek: I am excited to say that I may be getting the chance to participate in the fairy fair this year! More details will be announced soon! x
