Tuesday Shoesday – Nautical-style pumps for summer

I was having a rummage through my local jumble-sale recently – sorry, I mean Primark -and I came across these little gems!

On trend nautical striped pumps with cute girly pink trim, and super comfy – what could be better than that? I’ll tell you what… the price! These pumps are only £3!!

I snapped them up and after a quick glance around for a security guard, I realised NO – I wasn’t about to be manhandled into a grubby office for trying to get away with paying a dodgy price – I had legitimately bought a pair of canvas pumps that were correctly priced at only three quid! And I don’t believe it… I’ve paid more for a cup of coffee!

I know that it’s probably down to crappy conditions in the factories and shoddy construction that’ll fall apart after a week – but at the moment these little beauties are going strong and you can’t knock Primark for cleaning up their act since 2010 with their Ethical Trading Code of Conduct. And my grey pumps from Primark last year are still in pretty good nick…

You’ll be interested to know that there are also canvas pumps in floral print and this season’s bright colours, all with the same £3 pricetag – what do you reckon? Will you be hot-footing it to Primarni this week??
