Cute ghost lanterns DIY project for Halloween

Happy Halloween everyone! While I’m not planning to go out trick or treating or dress up for a costume party, I have spent a little bit of time making some spooky decorations for my home. I thought I’d share my latest Instastory DIY project with you today – how to make ghost lantern jars, the easy way. I’ve already shared a sewing project to turn a spooky t-shirt into a Halloween cushion on my blog this week, and a quick video for a no-carve pumpkin, so be sure to check out those posts too!

These are great for decorating your mantlepiece or sitting outside your front door to welcome trick-or-treaters this evening. All you need are a few empty glass jars and some white paint. Or you could even use orange paint to make little light-up pumpkins instead. Here’s the step-by-step video from my Instastory that I’ve now shared on YouTube:

I hope you’ve enjoyed this project and let me know if you give it a go. Keep an eye on my Instagram profile @Cassiefairy for more quick DIY projects and recipes in my Instastories. I’ll share my little craft videos on YouTube too but you can be first to see them if you follow me on Instagram.
