2021 marks the 10th Anniversary of the My Thrifty Life blog and I’m excited to tell you what celebrations I’m planning and how you can get involved..!

After a decade of sharing my thrifty ways online, I’m going to celebrate this milestone by baking a cake (of course!) and also by making some changes to Cassiefairy.com so that it’ll be even easier to navigate around the 2500+ thrifty articles I’ve written and to find the money-saving resources you need. In fact, there will be a library of resources including eBooks, courses and workbooks to help you manage your money and life a lovely life on a budget – coming soon!

I’d love to tailor all my new content to your needs so I’d love to hear from you if you have anything in particular that you’d like to learn about in a future blog post or any topics for eBooks that you would enjoy reading. Please leave me a comment below or email me cassie@cassiefairy.co.uk so that I can put together exactly what you need, ready for when the resources library launches later this year.

For now, I’m celebrating with a mini-makeover of the website. You may spot a few little changes here and there while I make some adjustments. Please bear with me when I launch the new site – and please do let me know if you come across any glitches, that would be really helpful so that I can make sure that the site is as smooth to use as possible. In the meantime, here are a few of my recent thrifty blog posts to keep you on track in your money-saving endeavours…

Each month I share an update on my ‘grow-your-own’ garden where I’m attempting to live the allotment life on a small scale. Check out my garden posts here (including some handy outdoor DIYs) and let me know how you’re getting on with your own garden harvest.

I’ve also been sharing more DIY home articles recently. I’m currently renovating my kitchen (on a very tight budget!) so have been posting my progress on the blog alongside plenty of furniture upcycling projects and storage DIYs to help you get your home and garden organised. Have a read of my latest home blog posts here.

If you didn’t already spot my Cheapest Ever Chocolate Cheesecake recipe on the blog last month, I highly recommend that you check it out now! It’s absolutely lush and it proves that the ingredients don’t have to cost a small fortune for something to look lovely and taste delicious. Visit my low-cost recipes page to be tempted to try out some more sweet or savoury treats!

I hope you enjoy browsing through my latest posts and please do leave me a comment below to let me know what you’d like me to include in the new website – any budget blog post ideas or thrifty eBook topics would be really helpful so that I can prepare the new resources library to suit your needs. Thanks!
