Happy Halloween everyone! While I’m not planning to go out trick or treating or dress up for a costume party, I have spent a little bit of time making some spooky decorations for my home. I thought I’d share my latest Instastory DIY project with you today – how to make ghost lantern jars, the easy way. I’ve already shared a sewing project to turn a spooky t-shirt into a Halloween cushion on my blog this week, and a quick video for a no-carve pumpkin, so be sure to check out those posts too!
These are great for decorating your mantlepiece or sitting outside your front door to welcome trick-or-treaters this evening. All you need are a few empty glass jars and some white paint. Or you could even use orange paint to make little light-up pumpkins instead. Here’s the step-by-step video from my Instastory that I’ve now shared on YouTube:
