ALL THINGS CHRISTMAS
The fantastic news is that my article about preparing for the festive season in advance has just been published on AllThingsChristmas.com! If you haven’t already come across this website, it’s famous for sharing tips, facts and gorgeous photos about Christmas all year round. Now that’s my kind of website!

My blog post is about how to start planning for Christmas in September, and it’s not JUST about saving your money (although that plays a part in it, of course). Head over to the website to have a read of the 5 most important things you can do this month to get ahead and not feel totally stressed out when December arrives.

MAKERS CHRISTMAS COUNTDOWN
I’ve just had a message from one of my fabulous, talented maker friends Hannah Berridge, who has created a festive hashtag on Instagram #MakersChristmasCountdown. Be sure to use it during the 100 days run-up to Christmas to share your makes and festive planning when you post photos or stories on Instagram.
Hannah is an incredibly creative lady who paints gorgeous ceramics and her festive ranges are simply stunning. Have a look at her Etsy shop Hannah Berridge Ceramics to see the personalised items she can create for you – that’s more gifts ticked off your Christmas list straight away!
If you intend to order any personalised products from any maker or any business, such as custom keychains, handmade art prints or even some unique pottery, you’ll need to start thinking about that with plenty of time to spare before December. When products are personalised, it sometimes takes a while longer for the items to be made and customised before they can be shipped to you – so allow a couple of weeks, at least.

FESTIVE DIYs
I’ve got some new festive DIYs in the pipeline that I’ll be sharing with you in November and December (yes, I’ve started making them already!) but in the meantime, there are plenty of DIY decorations, recipes and festive projects on my YouTube channel and Christmas prep posts on my blog.
I like to make my videos short (this one above is a 3 minute tutorial that I first shared on my Instagram story!) and the projects are easy to follow and low cost! I will of course be adding more Christmas decor step-by-step videos so be sure to subscribe to my Cassiefairy YouTube channel to be updated whenever my DIY guides are published.
