Have you got your hands on the latest issue of Reclaim magazine yet? It comes with a fantastic free Heritage Craft supplement and is packed full of interior design inspiration for a reclaimed home that’s as unique as you are.
I’m always keen to tell you all about the articles I’ve written for my favourite magazine, but this month I’m extra-excited about it – because I helped to write the supplement for Issue 36 too!
I’ve had the pleasure of interviewing some of the most talented crafters around the UK and going on some fun photoshoots this month too! I also interviewed Daniel Carpenter from the Heritage Crafts Association and learned a lot about endangered crafts and how the association is helping to preserve the knowledge and skills of ‘at risk’ crafts.
I want to say a massive thank you to basket weaver Amanda from WyldWoodWillow, upholsterer Lucy from Huntlandsfarm.co.uk, blacksmith Eamonn from HotMilkForge, furniture maker Daniel Lacey, knitter Elspeth Gibson and Alde Garden Campsite cob builder Marie Smith for taking part and for sending over plenty of gorgeous photos to include in the supplement. I couldn’t have done it without you guys!
I was also lucky enough to interview Kyla from the famous House of Hipsters blog. I’ve poured over photo of her gorgeous home for months and I was so happy to be able to chat with her about her design choices. This is certainly a house that I’d be delighted to live in – every room is simply stunning.
The magazine and supplement is in shops now (until end of March) so head down to your local WH Smith or supermarket to grab a copy. You can search for your nearest Reclam magazine stockist here.
