I was delighted when I got the chance to interview Jasmine Rosten-Edwards for Reclaim magazine back in 2020 and I can’t believe it has taken me this long to share her beautiful art-filled home with you. Jasmine is an advocate of emerging artists and owner of OneOffTo25, an online gallery that specialises in selling original, limited edition art.
I discovered how passionate Jasmine is about art and supporting new and established artists when I saw her home. Every room is packed full of art and Jasmine has found a way to bring very different pieces together to create a truly decadent interior.
She combines paintings, drawings, installations and sculpture with vintage furniture and commissioned upholstery pieces. The result is a beautiful mix of old and new homewares and classic and contemporary art. Even the lighting is striking – with light-based artworks and neon signs illuminating the space.
In contrast to the usual ‘blank canvas’ white walls of a gallery setting, the dark walls of Jasmine’s home provide the perfect backdrop to let the artworks take centre stage. The eye is drawn past the functional furniture to take in the bold pieces on the walls.
The colours that Jasmine has used throughout her home include Farrow & Ball’s Sulking Room Pink in the office and dark Thunderclap by Sanderson in the living spaces.
Jasmine regularly shares inspirational photos of her home on her Instagram account @Oneoffto25, alongside stunning original artworks, so be sure to give her a follow AND find out more about her online gallery OneOffTo25.com, which is full of affordable art that supports emerging artists.
And if you would like to read more about the decorating work she has carried out in her home, her feature appears in issue 55 of Reclaim magazine, which is still available in print or as a digital download.
