If you’ve spotted my pallet bar around the internet (and on the TV now, thanks to Kirstie Allsopp!) you may be interested to see today’s pallet project – a Spanish-style wine tavern pallet bar with summery stenciled pattern…
A lovely Instagrammer @Jillerose got in touch with me to let me know that they had made a pallet bar for their own garden, using my project as the inspiration. How exciting..!
Their project is amazing and I love the detailed stenciling on the pallet wood. The sign writing ‘Taberna Rosa’ is Spanish for Rose Tavern and is beautifully finished with a copper shadow-effect. What a fabulous summery colour too!
Jill used chalk paint in ocean blue hues to revamp the pallet wood. Also – she’s upcycled some wood from wine crates to make the tabletop, which just adds to the holiday wine bar vibe. I feel like I could spend all summer at this beautiful pallet bar.
I hope Jill and her family and friends enjoy the wonderful pallet bar she has made – it’s so impressive and I’m thinking about revamping my own bar with wine crate wood now haha!
